So on Saturday, October 29th 2016 we were live at Four Point at Sheraton, Victoria Island, for the “Switch Conference”, paid entry and the afternoon free entry-“Social Enterprise Conference”, powered by SMEHouse and Gtext Group.



Special thanks to Mr. Stephen Akintayo, Nigeria’s premier digital marketing consultant (as he fondly call himself), CEO/MD of Gtext Group and SMEHouse, for his dedication to youth empowered particularly in tech and digital businesses.


The Switch Conference was an eye opener as secret to thriving in business and career during economic recession were exposed. In fact, the Social Enterprise Conference too was wow with Speakers like the former Deputy Governor of Lagos, Mrs. Sarah Sosan, Mr Dayo Isreal, Mrs. Bukola Meshida Adefope, CEO of The Pegasus, Mr. Deji Irawo, and a host of other fantastic speakers on board to share their unique experiences and secrets in life and business.


If only our youth can leverage on the power that resides within them, the opportunities abound around them offline and online, the networks they have, the abundance of information at their disposal at a click away, and stop complaining of bad government or corrupt leaders that we have, Nigeria would be a better place!


Enough of excuses, it time for every forward-moving Nigerian youth to start taking personal responsibility for their betterment and advancement of the community they belong!


With the likes of great minds and die-hard personalities like Mr. Stephen Akintayo, there is still hope for this country.
