Let's Talk Personal Responsibility

Hear this: 

Whatever you eventually become (a total failure or a success), is absolutely dependent on you--your personal decision and not your circumstance. The tomorrow you envisage is at the mercy of the decisions you make today. Like I used to say, decisions and not just dreams (we all do), determine our destinies.

Nobody is responsible for your outcomes in life. You are absolutely responsible for your life. So, the idea of shifting the blame to your circumstance, family up bring, government or environment is not acceptable. When you cast blame, it shows how sooo lame your values are. Blaming everything and excusing yourself only reveals your shallowness of thoughts and sense or reasoning.

The world, as it were, does not celebrate processes, only products. Your story does not matter so long it ends in glory. Your value does not increase because you have an idea (we all do, too), your value increases per value you bring to the table. You are only celebrated for the results you command not the excuses you give. Your content (what you carry inside of you) and not your colour (whether black or white) determines your originality and your critical success factor!

No one promises a smooth journey to the top. In fact, the road to meaning and significance sometime is crooked but you must be ready to define your path lest you are lost. Or last, last, you are gone!

See, many are stranded and distracted in the race of life today because of lack of clear-cut vision and sharp focus. A little determination and gut can keep you afloat and steady to withstand the storms in your life. In the long run, the storms you eventually overcome only add to the sweetness of your story.

To get to the top, you must be ready to navigate through the storm, you must be tougher than your situation, you must be determined never to give up on your dreams. Your dreams are valid, but first, your dreams needs your validation!

Don't join the bandwagon that are sincerely giving excuses for their failures and misfortunes, excusing themselves in the bid to proof a point. Many are sincerely poor today, some are sincerely stupid, some are sincerely making foolish life-ruining decisions on top mere temporary challenges that will soon pass with the passage of time, some others are sincerely stranded only playing the blame game and complaining about everything except themselves! Remember, when all you do is complain, you aggravate the problem, you only explain your pain to no gain. The pain is still there but you gain nothing but more pain!

Like @olakunlesoriyan would say, "Sincerity is not a factor of production, responsibility is the name of the game". Today, decide to take personal responsibility for your life and see how progressive your life will become.
