A SONG TO SING-Inspiration By Exponent Samuel Adu

This life can be so funny
While some sing in the morning
Celebrating that everything is booming
Some are found mourning
Others are just murmuring
With no genuine reasons complaining and foaming
And to some, they are expert at forming
At the event of their neighbours success they are beefing

I must warn you; don’t go any funny
Do not let your life be a wasted journey
I believe life without money
Is to wake up every morning
To find yourself mourning
Seeing your spouse with another hubby
Calling him her honey
“You are good for nothing”
“You are nothing but a dummy”
She said to you in front of your mummy!
Does that sound insulting?

Life can make you sick
Poverty can make you stink
Your dreams downward sloping it sinks
Each day break your eyes blink
You ask yourself: where are the bling bling?
In your mind you think
Among all these life’s tricks
Whose face do I seek?
To help do the trick (to succeed in solving a problem)
In this period of thick and thin
Do not grow weary, do not panic
Do not be intoxicated by hot drinks
For in the end there is a song to sing!

Never worry, never fear-fear
Your time to shout for joy is near
The season of your laughter is hear!
Just be fair and square (honest and according to rules)
For faith is better than fear
After all, no one can lay to bare
That life is all about funfair
In life there is more of warfare
Ask any of your forebears
Only His grace is available for you to bear

My beloved, my friend, my dear
Enemies are around so beware
Be courageous like the deer
For your dreams don’t be afraid to dare
In the start, situations might unveil to scare
But is takes starters from here
To get to the place called there
And until you are there
Nothing for you is there

The difference between here and there is time
Although, no time to waste time
But everything is beautiful in God’s time
Sometimes your heart may be bitter like lime
Unknowingly, the unexpected may happen without rhyme
You be cool and calm in the main time
In your own style, dance to the rhythm of the rhyme
With little but steady steppes and mime
With no form of economic crime
Slowly but surely in the nick of time (very last moment)
You shall get to the prime

Sorrows may endure for a night
But here comes the daylight
As it shines so bright
The road to success is always narrow and tight
In fact, it’s a myth to believe that you can be successful overnight
Even greatness is never a function of your height
But a function of your insight
